Festive Christmas tree with Callas Crunchy Chocolate Nut Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of pizza puff pastry
  • Callas Crunchy Chocolate Nut Cream
  • Whisked egg
  • Powdered suger

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the puff pastry packaging.
  • Unroll the first sheet of puff pastry onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread it with a thin layer of Callas Crunchy Chocolate Nut Cream.
  • Then, unroll the second sheet of puff pastry over it and press it down slightly.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut a triangle shape from the puff pastry, and them make cuts everery few centimeters towards the center. Do this on both the left and right sides. Leave at least 4/5 cm in the middle for the trunk.
  • Next, twist all the individual strips an lay them back down on the baking sheet.
  • Optionally, use the remaining unused puff pastry to cut out start to decorate the Christmas tree.
  • Brush te top of the puff pastry with the beaten egg to create a beautiful golden brown crust.
  • Bake the Christmas tree according to the puff pastry packaging instructions.
  • Decorate the Christmas tree with some sifted powdered sugar.
  • Enjoy!
