"You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces—just good food from fresh ingredients."

Pork Chops with Sage and Apple Caramel Calvados
Ingredients
2 bone-in pork chops, about 1 cm thick
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp salted butter
12 fresh sage leaves
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp Callas Confiture Appel Caramel Calvados
1-2 Jonagold apples, sliced
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp freshly chopped thyme
Preparation
Preheat your oven’s grill to maximum temperature.
Season the pork chops with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Sear the chops for 2-3 minutes on each side over high heat in a preheated oven-safe pan with olive oil. Continue cooking over medium heat for a few more minutes.
Place the chops on a plate and generously coat both sides with the Apple Caramel Calvados fruit butter.
Add butter to the pan and toss in the garlic, apples, and sage. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Return the chops to the pan and drizzle the balsamic vinegar over them.
Place the pan under the grill and let it grill for another 3 minutes, until the apples turn golden brown.
Remove from the oven, spoon the sauce over the chops, and finish with freshly chopped thyme.
